At Mighty Rivers Eco-farm......

You'll enjoy exquisite Caribbean flavors, beautiful tropical scenery and old fashioned animal husbandry, all mixed with a touch of Pennsylvania Dutch. Our theme is ecologically friendly food production and holistic health care for animals and humans in the humid tropical province of Limon, Costa Rica.  Multi-generational farming experience and trial and error research have been important factors in our success in this exotic setting.

Rise at 4 AM to observe  the milking with "Don Mauricio." Mauricio has taught the Mighty Rivers crew many things about tropical farming that North American dairying experience could not.

"Long live the birdies!" After Mother's untimely passing at Mighty Rivers, Dad quickly took affinity to the land in which she was laid to rest. Here he builds birdhouses made from bamboo trunks.
